I'm gonna buy a 3DS with older firmware and a Gateway so I can pirate it and not support this lazy entry in the series.

GF takes time to completely reanimate their entire pokemon roster in 3D, a massive transition considering that designing 3d models takes a fuckton more time than spriting.

They give us some good designs (couple of duds) But only 70 (supposedly) probably due to having to cut some due to the 3d modeling. You faggots get a new gimmick in Mega evoloution, which will probably breathe new life into some of the lesser used pokemon in competitive.
Game is coming out far sooner than expected, and is doing a world wide release.

But fuck all that GF is lazy.

I was really, truly pumped and full of life when I saw the starters and the first few Pokémon shown on Serebii. Since then I got a 3DS and have been waiting anxiously, but all that changed once I saw the final evolutions of the starters. Since then it's all been downhill from there.

I would've rather more Pokémon than the Megas to be honest, and I wish some of the Pokémon were better designed. I'm planning to skip this Gen, I'll still watch the anime, but not going to bother touching the games. I hope everyone who has gotten the game or plans to enjoys it. I'll anxiously await for Gen 7.

>Super training or whatever it's called

Yes, when you look at it JUST as "Only 70 pokemon", it seems lacking. But when you take the entire game as a whole into consideration, it's easy to see that they've easily spent more time and effort on this game than any previous single release in the series.

Last gen was pretty much a reboot. The gimmick was it having as many pokemon as the first. It had to have enoughnew pokemon to fill the region since you couldn't use old ones until post game.

And why even care about the sheer amount of new pokemon if people are going to call more than half of them shit anyway?

And this gen is changing a lot of things about old mons and adding a shitload of new attacks and skills, besides Fairy type, besides everything else not directly related to the mons. How is that not enough?

GF put quite a bit into X and Y, and all you can focus on is how many new monsters there are and judge it for that alone. There's plenty new stuff outside the number of Pokemon they added.

This Gen completely overhauled the graphics to 3D, including all the Pokemon, all the moves, everything. Even some of the cries are remastered.
