Since gen6 is based on european mithology we will be getting a Fenrir inspired Ice/dark wolf. If they make it defensive i swear to god that i'll feed the game designers to it.

Was the ice type a joke from the begining?
I mean first of all they gave it the most weaknesses and least resists, make their attacks strong against the best pokemon, and then they give ice moves to as many water pokes as possible, AND make almost all ice types not good enough attack/special and speed wise to have their STAB be worth using.

I bet all of the good ice types were accidents

Ice types were incredibly good in gen 1 when fire didn't resist them, steel didn't exist, fighting attacks sucked and blizzard had 90% accuracy.

Man, I've said this multiple times but I really hope that if Mega Volcrona gets a mega form I see it before getting the game because if it looks stupid I'm fullstop dropping the game. That's my favorite pokemon and I don't want him retroactively ruined with a terrible mega like some of these other mega forms.

Even if you don't use something like Flamethrower, it's special defense is so fucking awful that I can't see it living that long.

once for the hell of it I made an entire team of 4x rock weak mons for giggles. It did terribly, but articuno was pretty surprising. He did a great job of not getting killed, his downfall was having nothing for steels. roost, substitute, toxic, sky drop

not much really, fighting or ground if you want to get rid of the stealth rock weakness. Electric's pretty good, covers the steel weakness and adds 2 more resistances, and adds a ground weakness but ground types hate ice.
