Finished the game (X) in just 18 hours.. Here's my thoughts on the game

>linear story/too fucking easy

literally gym battles and the E4 were just exp farming for me

>boring pokemon designs

yep really got tired of seeing hordes of bunnelby in the forest

>ugly overworld design

absolutely disgusting color schemes that were reused over and over, the camera angles moves awkwardly when you transition to parts of the map too

>wasted opportunity on 3ds hardware

the overworld doesn't take advantage of the 3d, pokemon battles are kinda 3d but the attack animations doesn't pop out and gets repetitive

>shit postgame

pic related it's the last thing to do after beating the E4 just go back to the cave and the champion will open up the blocked entrance and BAM catch this ugly out of place motherfucker that looks like it belongs in starcraft

>mega evos are broken

how to beat the game after getting the mega stone just go saiyan on E4 and you can beat the champion with just mega lucario the npcs rarely mega their pokes and it doesn't make the game any harder

honestly if i were you guys i'd skip this game and wait for Z to hopefully revive this dead series
