Every gen has had diverse enough designs that there was always a new pokébro waiting for me in each generation. This is the first to break that cycle, and I'm very disappointed by it.
Still wanting to see my old favorites in 3D animation though.

I like them because they're usually more down-to-earth in their designs, behave more like actual animals, are bulky, strong, associated with dry earth, etc. Ground aside, we haven't had anything like that this gen at all. So yes, I am disappointed.
