You know, I would actually prefer paying for DLC that adds like, extra routes or caves for legendaries, maybe with Pokemon that are only available in there too, ending in an actual battle with the legendary.

I'd pay £5-£10 per peice, depending on length. Would actually feel like I've acomplished something rather than just going 'Oh, mystery gift? cool, into the box with you!'

They're just decorations. They had the 3D models left over from B/W's intro so they figured why not. That's like asking why there are statues of Rhydon in every gym or why there's a battle facility shaped like a Seviper. It just is.

Gen VI is less of a sequel and more like a celebration of the entire series, with special attention paid to the first generation. That's why there was an animated mini-series about Red's journey from Pallet town.

Now that's something I don't get. How the fuck can anyone like that gen's music? It just feels so lifeless and boring compared to the gen before it. I mean, that whole gen kind of sucked but the music especially was bad. Only game where I had to turn the volume to zero at some parts because it was just annoying.

Well, it's music, isn't it? Everyone's taste varies greatly. I loved the music on Spear Pillar, the Legendary battle themes, most route themes and especially Cynthia's theme, but that doesn't mean anyone else has to like it. I just felt hyped all the way throughout the game, save for the slow-paced theme in Eterna. That one annoyed me.

Whirl Islands and Lugia
Cave of Origin and Kyorge and so forth.

Bonus points for randomly generating dungeons.

Heck, even paying £3 for stuff like N's castle or Mt.Silver to batter N and Red respectively would be a pretty cool idea.

However, DLC exclusive pokemon seems a bit silly to me, then again, I might like it.

I said I would gladly pay for extra dungeons, with Pokemon that arent in the Kalos wilds that end with a legendary.

I love exploring caves and solving puzzles, so I feel that would be pretty awesome. Not so much paid DLC legendaries, rather extra areas.

Honestly, there really isn't.

IMO, there shouldn't be legendaries at all. They create a really bad dynamic on the competitive scene, promote power creep which makes your favorite pokemon worthless, and force the player into taking on really un-fun (and ugly) creatures in an attempt to catch them.

Also, they're overpowered and suck the fun out of the game.

3D models that look really good in a proper game instead of condemning your Pokemon to a console for the rest of their lives. Not to mention the amazing attack animations.

I don't consider this a half-assed game yet. In fact, it sounds like it's going to be the best game since G/S/C.
