Seriously, they're not running out of ideas. Just because they didn't come out with ideas you liked or didn't come out with as many ideas (which even to me is disappointing) doesn't mean they're out of ideas. It doesn't take much to make a Pokémon.

Personally I think it looks cool. And just because it has shitty stats (or so it is perceived) doesn't mean GF ran out of ideas. It doesn't require ideas to provide good stats. I think Goodra looks really creative and I think it will do really well in rain teams.

This. Everybody gets up uppity about the game being unbalanced and being all about offense but when a pokemon has defensive stats or isn't the perfect sweeper it gets shit on. It's that kind of attitude that caused the fucking power creep in the first place.

That's not as damaging for a wall as it would be if this guy was offensively oreintated.
I guess for recovery, it's easier for Latias as it'll often outspeed shit at crucial times but Goodra's Rest/Hydration can probably make up for it

The only use I see for that is dual type grass moves and leech seed, and last I checked the only dual type grass move I've heard of is Light Ray, which is electric. So sap sipper belongs on any non-rain team.

A Physical Ice move would kill it due to its pisspoor Defense. I wasn't really thinking about distribution, it was just the first physical Ice move that came to mind. And If I do think about distribution, I don't think many more than the ones mentioned even get Physical ice moves.
