Now I'm not saying its a major problem, because its not. I'm still going to buy and enjoy both X and Y. But surely there can't be just roughly 70 new pokemon, right? Its like Gen IV without all the new evolutions. It just feels kinda empty. Also, Megas aren't new pokemon. They don't count for shit. I'm starting to ponder on why they actually exist. Why not just regular evolutions? Why is everything so fucked this gen?
