As in, there's nothing between them. We're just waiting on event legendaries.
And since nobody can/is hacking XY, we will not know the event legendaries until a Nintendo wants us to know there is one and reveals it in a movie trailer in Japan.
Gen 4 and Gen 5 had 4 event legendaries. If people didn't hack, we wouldn't have known all of Gen 4's until 3 years after Diamond & Pearl came out. Gen 5's would've taken at least 2.5 years or something as well.
Unless hacking happens, we're not going to know how many exist until probably 2015-2016 depending on how long they stretch the generation. And we will probably have several more game releases in between now and then.
