Why make the scarf with his tongue I feel like they got rid of one of the distinguishing parts of Froakie by not making his scarf out of bubbles.

That's the thing I'm torn about.

I like Greninja's design I think it is probably my favorite final starter design. But the traingle headfins and tonguescarf are such a weird departure from froakie

Nah it's cuz when frogs grow up they produce bubbles or some shit but when they become adult frogs they stop making bubbles. Apparently this is why Greninja doesn't have bubbles anymore.

Which is a shame because I would have loved a bubblescarf. And the triangles are meant to be origami or something? I agree that stylistically they look a bit different

Frogs licks all of the bubble in their bodies, so that would explain the lac of bubbles. I don't like the triangles but I'm ok with Frogadier.
