According to the website, no. They open at 10 p.m. to allow people to finish paying or whatever, and then they will actually give people the game at midnight and will stay open until 12:30 a.m. to give people the game.

GS employee here, can confirm. My GS is having the midnight, it'll be cash.

That said, any suggestions on what we should do? We're thinking Pokemon movies, maybe the soundtrack playing and we're thinking of some kind of tournament with a giveaway but we can't trust with some people cheating.

Unless I didn't read the fine print well enough I'm assuming I'll have to get my game at the one that isn't doing a midnight release. I mean I can go to the other GS and battle and talk to some bros but that's not worth it to drive 5 minutes.

...I'm not sure if going to a midnight release is worth it now, compared to just going to a 24h walmart and pestering the deadshift employee to sell me the goddamn game.

Is there even gonna be any exclusive shit I can buy/ swag to get at these events? Fucking Central Canada man, I understand that, BUT WHY HOLD A PRE RELEASE AT ALL in a location that just screams, "Don't come"?!
