Lazy is not the correct word. Having less Pokemon because they wanted to form a new 3D engine and create all kinds of new gimmicks is not laziness. It's called having strange priorities.
They had to change type match ups, create dual moves, retype Pokemon, design slightly new models for the style, make new Mega forms, Pokemon Amie, riding/rollerblading, all kinds of new whatever. The Pokemon count suffered from this, but holy shit, that's not the only part of the game.

If you ONLY buy the games for new pokemon and 70's not enough for you, fine. But don't be retarded because u mad. It's a complete game with an arguably underwhelming amount of Pokemon. Your high expectations and wanting 100+ does not mean Game Freak is charging you too much for half the content. They're charging you for the GAME part.
So I mean, if you consider Platinum, Emerald, Crystal, Yellow, BW2 and Colosseum/XD incomplete games for adding ZERO new Pokemon, even in that situation, this would be more complete than those, if Pokedex additions is all that matters.
