Thieves are clever and cunning, and able to trick and defeat the wily mage.

Mages are wise and powerful, and able to defeat the fighter through mystical effects he cannot overcome.

The fighter is too straightforward and earnest to fall for the thief's ruses.

I'm getting Fennekin and so is he, though for our roommate...not sure. Probably Froakie, if I had to guess.

As for second starters, I'm getting Squirtle and he's going to go with Charmander. Both of our first starters.
