No cross dressing, you can't take the hat off at the beginning of the game (whether this changes as the game progresses, I don't know), makeup, you can change clothing, accessories, skin and hair.

yes, there's a million different hats to choose from. does anyone know, if i pick the lightest skin, am i stuck with blue eyes? Or is there a way to get light skin, brown eyes and brown hair?

We're not really sure. Seems like the leakers are avoiding going in depth on customization.

Looks like you can change the style of your backpack (might just be color change not sure). You can get different pants, as for hats I've only seen a few. Red's style hat, that stupid one the protag gets and the fedora. Different jackets and shirts. New shoes.

You can change your skin color and hair color.

So far it's looking good.

May be is just customization is not that deep. I mean, you know you can change clothes (and cloth colors), skin color and hair color/style.

So...not much to comment aside of that I suppose.

You're also stuck with the whitest mom.

Presumably your choice doesn't affect which Serena preset is, I think she's always the default middle one.
