Welcome to /vp/. Home of some of the worst memes on 4chins. Make sure you check out the following:

Wifi General - a place of circle jerkign and pretending to play pokemon

Showderp - A Chumpion uses an anon chosen team to beat 12 year old kids in pokemon while 20+ spectators laugh and shitpost

/vp/ make a game - eternally over the bump limit so use the catalog. It is a group of people trying to never finish makign their own fanmade game

And at least one Gen War thread. Pokemon, unlike most other games does not make great improvements over time, and thus everyone has an opinion of what game was the "best".
