At least Bug still has a godly move in U-Turn.
Grass got further nerfed as an offensive type as in spore-type moves no longer working against other grass types. The problem is grass is a really shitty defensive type too. And now they have to worry about their poison weakness as well since those attack will be a lot more common with fairies running rampant.

U-Turn, aka the "fuck you prediction skills" move.
It's the safest move in the game, you do damage and switch to a favorable matchup whether the opponent outpredicts you or not.
The only downside of this move is if you kill the opponent then he lets to choose the next pokemon after you. But hey, you still killed something with that.

Give me one ice type staller and tell me ice resistance ONLY is good.

And normal types wall ghost types greatly. (especially now since steel doesn't anymore)

Honestly, why is grass super effective against water? Doesn't the ground absorb most of it, so why isn't ground super effective against against water and not the other way around? Point is: don't even bother asking, there are some things that will never make sense in the games.

It isn't currently good, but it's acceptable in ice body pokemon in hail, and it could be good enough to be ignorable if hail gave a boost to them like sandstorm does to rock.

U-Turn is great for pokemon that aren't bug type. Bugs hate smogon stones and thus hate switching. Except Scizor and a handful of others who are neutral to smogon stones.

I think it makes sense. A plant alone in water will still absorb the water. It makes more sense than say, fighting against dark.
