I'm going to get the game regardless of arbitrary numbers, but I want to see when the game is finally released what REAL reviews have to say.

Pretty much.

What gets me is theres no real criticism.
Its just compounding what has already been established in every single trailer and slapping a sticker of approval and calling it a day.

I wanna know how fixed/fucked the meta is.

The reviewer thought the plot was weak since it was made, seemingly, to appeal to a younger demographic.
I really don't care much about what professional reviewers have to say, but if you're gonna comment on a review I think you ought to actually read it.
Commentary is also made speculating on how the new way to build pokemon stats might affect the meta game.

they deliberately avoid mentioning downsides of the game such as the lack of new pokemon and the lack of a postgame to make the game seem better than it is

when i saw that video it scared me into not wanting to buy the game

i reckon theres going to be a lot of disappointed people on here come the 13th
