>>1433930902 was bad because it had to be rushed. Both it and Young Hunters suffer the same problem of having to be rushed to finish for time, meaning many subplots and plotlines that had potential are either ignored and end abruptly.
02 has the Dark Ocean, which obviously was going to be a thing, Daemon, and an assortment of other things. The ending with Myotismon is also really disappointing.
Young Hunters was way too formulaic, building up the idea of collecting all these Digimon, but Tagiru never using more than two or three of them. Worse yet, he's only allowed to have two out at the same time, unlike the last series where you could have basically 100 and use all 100 if you really wanted to. Not to mention, the "rivals" don't really do much, they just sit there all day and go, "ah yes, he might be a worthy opponent," and walk away. If that wasn't bad enough, Taiki is there, along with a beefy Shoutmon, so they needed to give him excuses not to fight the monster of the week because he will otherwise just one shot them.
They could've also done a lot more with bringing in the other characters from the other series, making it so Tai and the other protagonists did more than star in the last few episodes. Even then, it's really the only reason to watch the show. Tagiru is like the bastard child of Davis, being way too fucking energetic and just wanting to catch Digimon all day.
