It has some move that prevents all status on the field for five turns. With Wish support and Dragon immunity I could see it doing well.

I'm pretty curious about Mega Gardevoir will turn out. If they raised its SpA and Speed then it will be the first true Fairy sweeper. If they decided to be predictable and raised its defenses then it will at least be the only Fairy besides probably Xerneas that can actually deal with physical dragons like Garchomp and Salamence.

Supposedly there's a Fairy priority attack that also reduces the enemy's Attack by one stage. If that's true then any Fairy not made out of paper or hit SE by one of Chomp's normal coverage moves should be able to shut him down.

Togekiss is surprisingly bulky, if we're talking about defensive fairies. +2 Chompy's Fire Fang and Salamence's Fire Blast can't 2HKO him and he has reliable recovery on top of Nasty Plot.

Since he'll be quite comfortable in OU again, they'll have to run Stone Miss and Iron Head for coverage. And be walled by Skarmory instead :^)

I notice that the old retcon fairies appear to be much stronger than the new ones. Maybe just seeing the new ones following the leaks made people think fairy will be useless. Then again, Gen 6 mons in general are quite underwhelming (only likely OU I can think of is Aegislash and maybe Sylveon)

Oh, and Mega-Mawile is GOAT anti-fairy offensive pivot. It does a good job of checking Gengar too.

Togekiss will be the premier Fairy Pokemon in the Metagame unless Blissey/Chansey is one too. Mismagius would also be pretty good as Ghost/Fairy.
