Dublinfag here. Haven't found anywhere yet, and I doubt I will. The big stores probably won't break the street date, and the only independent game shop here I can think of is the RAGE, who only sell old games.

I'm from Ireland too! I can't justify spending over €200 on a 3ds and the game though. That makes me sad. :(

Smyths is pretty good but I think you'll be looking at going over €200 for the 3DS and game if you're going new. If second hand go with Adverts.ie or CEX, they have a warranty on all their second hand stuff too. Smyths have the game and the X/Y 3DS for €225.

I bought Gold boxed with manual in the RAGE for €15 about two years ago. I expect they'd sell it for €40 plus today. Everyone flocked there when they opened and were selling games significantly cheaper than the second hand games place on Talbot Street; now they've become what we all feared they would.
