Charizard has the highest BST.
Venusaur has the best Stat distribution for what his role is (Blastoise doesn't have the HP to effectively use his tank stats, and his attack stats are relatively low and his speed is shit, Charizard is made of paper and doesn't really high ENOUGH speed to effectively sweep without a Scarf. Venusaur has enough bulk and enough Special Attack to be a threat)
Blastoise has the best typing (Monowater, nothing fancy, but a good working-man's type) Venusaur next (Poison makes him immune to toxic so he can't be stalled out, but he's got lots of weaknesses), and then Charizard (LOL SNEAKY STONES but seriously, Flying/Fire is a pretty shitty defensive typing.)
Venusaur consistently wins the New Ability Lottery. Chlorophyll is amazing, and Thick Fat on his Mega shuts down his Fire and Ice Weaknesses. Charizard gets second place here, with the new Drought. Blastoise gets Megalauncher, which might help.
I THINK Charizard has the better moveset of the three, owing to how good Fire STAB is and his ability to take advantage of either physical (With a band or Belly Drum) or Special. Venusaur loses this fight, since he has to rely on fucking Hidden Power for coverage.
