The combat in this manga is Gurren Lagann tier if it ever gets animated.

Why don't GF/Nintendo want our moneh?

But the manga is infinitely better, I would say the level of craziness happening in the battles are unparalleled compared to any other episodic shonen anime because usually it's 6 pokemon + 1 trainer vs 6 pokemon + 1 trainer BRAWL (reread Red vs. Giovanni).

If they dare to animate the manga, everyone will stop defending Ash's failure and spit on him for being the loser that he is

They really fucked up with the BW and BW2 series. XY releases in a few days, BW is not over yet, and BW2 is nowhere near close.

And this is only in Japanese, other languages won't see the end until 2015 I predict.

They hadn't started Platinum yet when BW1 was released, so yeah the manga has been lagging by two generation and it's not that big of a deal since the story is always pretty rad
