I don't know if this has been mentioned here or not or if there's a similar promotion in other countries, but at least this confirms that there can/will be DLC content for Pokemon X/Y:

Also, you can still get it in the game.

You just get Quick Balls at the beginning at the game, so you don't have to buy them.

also DLC always existed for pokemon in the form of events/mystery gifts. now that its on 3DS that content will just be more easily accessible.

It's still DLC, just not paid DLC, and therefore not evil.

Technically all the event Pokemon since Red and Blue are on disc (cartridge) DLC, Only difference is you don't have to pay for them.

What are the chances of them updating the game with challenge mode and more postgame content? The lack of those is the reason I'm going to withhold buying either of the games for now. It's a shame since everything else looks great, but I don't think I can get excited about a game that's a complete walkover after having so much fun with challenge mode and expansive post game of B2/W2.

so the DLC you download on f.x. CoD is not DLC because it's already on the disc?

you have to download the Content either way, to be able to use it, fagblasting assmaster.
