Do GameFreak care about the timeline? As you probably know, RSE\FRLG events happen at the same time and BW2 happens approximately 8-10 years after RSE\FRLG. This basically means that if GameFreak plan to make RSE remakes they either have to retcon RSE events from the past or get back to the very beginning of the timeline. You know, the idea of RSE remakes being a prequel to DPPt/HGSS/BW/BW2/XY sounds kind of cool.
