Can anyone tell me if there's something that makes this pokemon viable? I really want to use it over the t-rex but I feel like Ice/Rock is a terrible typing, and I have no idea what it's base stats look like.

It has a neat ability that changes normal moves into ice type. But unless it has a monstrous attack stat and access to Extremespeed then into the garbage it goes.

Who gives a shit? If it's an in-game run, so use it if you like it. BST and weaknesses barely mean anything in-game, especially considering the reduced opponent AI we've been hearing about.

If that's really the case, neither fossil should even go on a team for battling others, unless again, if they want to battle with those they like.

Tyrantrum's stats were nothing to smile about as was shown on some other posts.

Tyrantrum isn't half as bad as everybody is making it seem. It'll totally be usable. There are only a small handful of Pokemon that are close to bad.

Delcatty has a ability called Normalize that turns all moves it uses to normal type.

Delcatty with Normalize uses thunderwave on a ground type. What happens?

We've seen stats.

It's a slow as fuck special attacker with good health and high special defence.

So it has no chance against fighting at all.

Most of the pokemon this gen are quite slow. Gen V had "GOTTA GO FAST!" sweepers everywhere but this time it's all defense and attack or simply just defense.

I was actually surprised when I saw that delphox is a potential special sweeper since it has good speed. I thought it was going to be another SpD wall with decent SpA.

If my logic is correct then all starters look like shit because their mega evos will look damn fine.

Regarding Delphox only, after seeing all the fan art it kinda grew on me. I was very disappointed when I saw it the first time but I'm gradually trying to change my perspective since I know some pokemon look horrible from a certain perspective but can look better in movement or in a more dynamic way.

Conquest, for example, made me look at some pokemon quite differently because of the art. I also remember one guy on /vp/ who hated Mienshao because he thought it had no hands (front paws) and changed his mind after seeing the 3D model.

I'll reserve my final opinions for when I use Delphox.
