>>14370580The hackers have been able to dump roms and get an early firmware 3DS to recognize ROM files but only on an $80 flashcart that can only hold one game per SD card. That being said, they don't actually have access to the roms, but the home screen and they can tell it to skip a few checks, like region and firmware version. This seems to have been fixed with Monster Hunter 4 and Animal Crossing won't work because of its unique save design.
