He goes into his "Shield" mode when he uses a self-buffing move, and goes into "Sword" mode when he uses an attack with a BP. In Shield mode, he has some of the best Mixed Wall stats I've ever seen. In Sword mode he has some of the best Mixed Attacker stats I've ever seen.
The best part is that, (According to the SA leaker) he changes form just before his attack on his turn. That means if you choose an attack, and you're slower than the opponent, then the enemy will hit you for pitiful damage on your amazing defenses, and then you'll form change, and attack him with your amazing attacks.
Also, you can set up relatively painlessly with Swords Dance because it lets you stay in shield mode to set up. ALSO also he gets "King's Shield" which is Protect + a negative 2 Attack nerf for any opponent who makes contact with the protect.
He's basically genetically engineered to shit all over speedy physical sweepers, and even special sweepers will have trouble with him.
