Then when you go to meet Bianca, a guy will be waiting for you at the bottom of the steps and give you the Challenge mode key. Then fight your rival (Don't activate challenge mode yet, because then Hugh's starter is level 6). Then save again and turn off the game. Activate challenge mode in the menu.
