Can anyone who's been closely following the leaks tell me how soon you can catch a Mawhile in X and Y? Also, how do you obtain its mega stone?

Mawile is 63 in the Kalos Mountain Dex, so I would estimate, around the 3rd or 4th gym.

Also, It's supposed to be pronounced Maw-isle, right? Like Maw and Crocodile? But pokemon don't always go by their root pronounciation? Like Blastoise is Blast and Tortoise, but it's pronounced Blast-oyce not Blast-touss.

Also I think tortoyce is an acceptable pronunciation.

According to the Pokédex 3D Pro app and the anime, it's MAW-why-ull.

The name is derived from "maw" (its gaping mouth) and "wile" (a word meaning trickery or craftiness).

It should be Maw-isle and Blastoise should be Blastess, but the Anime is the accepted cannon for pronounciation and the dub team don't always understand the American Localization team was going for when it comes to their names.

Mawile is Ma-while for some insane reason.

The Kalos region has like 15+ pokemon in each route. Unlike most pokemon games, you can miss a lot of pokemon in your normal paced runthrough.

No list that I've found but I've asked a couple of people, notably Josh, and they say it's definitely in Y. Sawk and Throh, and Growlithe and Vulpix, and many more are rumoured to have some form of exclusivity.
I'm surprised more people aren't asking, this is the only way to decide which game to get.
