Y, because all my friends are getting X so my inner-hipster wouldn't let me capitulate. At first I was off-put because I like Xerneas better and they get the better Mewtwo, but then I saw Dragalge and my choice was validated.
I'll get X eventually. Maybe Christmas.

Xerneas is a baller. Don't care about Charizard either way.

I won't use legendaries much so the mewtwos don't matter to me. Skrelp > Clauncher but it's an easy trade since it's a non-legendary.

May go for X it sounds better and looks cool and shit. I'm grasping at straws. Harder choice this time since we don't know the exclusives from the other gens afaik

Because I'm that Y chromosome, and I like the Charizard and Mewtwo Y Megas better. I really like Xerneas over Yveltal, but whatever. I can trade for it. Plus Skrelp is fucking cool!

Plus I'm already planning on picking up Z when it drops. I hope they don't pull that bullshit again with B/W2.

Y. I can't see a rational reason to get both. The only difference is going to be 10 or so exclusive pokemon and if i want to start a new game and keep all of my old pokemon I can use the pokebank for a lot cheaper.

I honestly can't understand this. On one side we have our mandatory Flying type legendary with 2edgy4me design and "cool" words like death, destruction and oblivion everywhere around it, and on the other side we have a majestic original looking legendary with a new typing. I've already pre-ordered X and I really see no reason to make any other choice. Y is of course going to sell more since Pokemon is made for kids and they like DeathFuckKillDestruction stuff because it's badass.

I fell in love with Yveltal at first sight. That was always the main reasoning for getting Y.
For a while it looked like X was getting the better exclusives though, I was severely disappointed by Spritzee's evo and Clawitzer is one of the most badass pokemon ever.
But like everyone else apparently, most of my friends are getting X so I'm sticking with Y.

Definately getting Z if it happens, Zygarde is 2cute.

God fucking damn it, who the fuck said that anyway? I actually feel like it's almost the opposite now because of how common I've seen that reasoning in regards to X/Y.

Just get the fucking version that suits your faggot ass and enjoy the game.

I'm getting X because I like the life and nurture theme more than the destruction one, and I just like the concept of the version as 'X' more than I do for 'Y'. I also like the exclusives more for X.

Even though now I'm thinking I'd rather use Clawitzer than Skrelp...

Yveltal was what I preferred originally but Xerneas has grown on me. And apparently the pseudo legendaries I prefer are in X. But I'm hearing random bullshit rumors about Mawile being Y? I don't fucking know, man.

Oh and there's Charizard X and Y. I guess I prefer Charizard X but it's kind of neutral both ways. I'd definitely prefer a shiny Charizard Y, I think. And also it's not like I'm ever going to use Mewtwo anyway but I just cannot abide Mewtwo X. Mewtwo Y on the other hand feels like a natural evolution, that's Mewtwo. That's what Mewtwo should be.
