The tongue scarf is really the only issue with Greninja. That and I was hoping for Water/Fighting, but it will probably learn a few Fighting moves anyway, and it has an immunity to Psychic not a weakness, no weakness to Flying, same matchup with Fairy, Bug would be the only issue but Bug moves are fairly uncommon.

Still picking Froakie though but I love Chespin too, I'm picking him in my second playthrough.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Tongues are retractable. This is why your tongue isn't always sticking out of your mouth.
