I'm not really digging the Kalos inclusion.

All the others focus primarily on the head/bust but the final evolution in Kalos almost brings a full body shot...Especially with Braxien and Delphox.

It just looks out of place with the whole chart.

I'm seeing it too. Plys the contrast seems much harsher in the Kalos pokemon.

Read up on the artist's comments, they said that they wanted to make the Kalos starters look badass for the people who still weren't sure which to start with.
I don't think it was meant to be a part of the other starter set anyway.
