>>14383237Funny story, around when facebook started getting big, I'd always check to see if she had one but she never did. She was never really one for computers though, her parents didn't allow it or whatever so that's why it was hard for us to keep in touch.
Anyway, so that was like what? 2007-8 or so when FB started getting big? Anyway that was the last time I checked and figured I'd just give up on getting closure. Fast forward to late last year and I get a friend request. When I went to accept it my heart skipped a beat because it was her, she had found me and added me. We started messaging again and it was really emotional. Turns out she still has all the notes, drawings, Pokemon, and various gifts I gave her (as do I) and even if it was years ago she said she still feels really emotional about the whole thing and whatnot. Apparently she still occasionally goes back and reads them to feel good sometimes, even if she is engaged. It was such a nice feeling.
Hell, I'd bet I could go back and find the messages if people don't believe me.
