I may have missed this but is there any use for the 3DS play coins in X/Y?

Or how does streetpass/spot pass work for the games? Please no more goddamn pointless surveys.

Just take the 3DS out with you and leave it in the car or walk around with it. I get streetpass shit all the time and I live out in the boonies

One/only reason why I'm going out to midnight release is cause of the sheer number of streetpasses I'm bound to get. I went to EVO a few years ago and that was by far the most streetpasses I've ever gotten in my life and it was a fighting game tournament.
