I know there's that other thread with that guy bitching about Noivern, but I'm making a new one because I don't want to bitch about him. I have a question.

How do people know Boomburst's type and that his alt. ability is Soundproof? Can I get a source on this info? I'm really just curious

Yeah I know, but people have been flaunting it around saying it's his alternative ability to Frisk, which isn't even bad on its own.

I'm just wondering if they have a source.

The only thing it says on the official site relating to Boomburst is "Hit all other Pokémon in battle, including allies, with Noivern's Boomburst move, a new and powerful attack!"

Doesn't state the type. Either way, a normal-type earthquake sounds rad if it IS true.

AFAIK, it's speculation, not confirmed. Although assuming they change Soundproof this gen to something like Lightningrod or Volt Absorb where it buffs the pokemon too, he'll be pretty broken in doubles with something with Hyper Voice.

Pretty sure he will, but I JUST want a fucking source on all these people claiming his alt ability is Soundproof. All I've seen him with is Frisk, and I just wanna know where these people are getting Soundproof from.
