Who here's planning on picking up a digital version of X/Y at midnight?>Always on the system, no worries about losing it or leaving it behind or it getting stolen >Midnight availability, no waiting at gamestop and dealing with little kids in line >Seeing that sexy game icon always on your 3DS Home menu, always ready to play Physical obviously has it's advantages, but anyone going to pick up a digital copy? And if so, which version? X, Y, both digital, neither digital, one digital one physical. Or did you already cancel your preorder?

I'm personally going one physical one digital. X as my digital copy (will be my main game) with Y as my physical. (so I can put it in a second 3DS for shifting items over and not worry about screwing up time based events)

I'm actually debating this. I think I'll just get a physcial copy though because of this deal for Toys R Us. At least someone can save money

I'm still on the fence, but in general I like digital. And I like the idea that I can carry my 3DS with like mario kart or something in it and still always have pokemon on me....

>>14382580 This is really the main draw of digital, having everything together. Especially on a portable system, having everything together and not needing to carry cartridges is really nice. If you carry your portable around, digital is wonderful. If you mostly stay at home with your digital and don't mind switching cartridges, it's probably better to go physical.

>>14382865 I've downloaded several games. I have what would be considered fairly fast internet here in the US. When I downloaded Animal Crossing New Leaf at midnight, it took roughly an hour, about less. Recently downloaded Resident Evil Revelations, 3.17ish Gbs, the largest game on the eShop. It took about 2 hours 30 minutes. Make of it what you will.

Britfag from the other thread worrying about region locking and all that. My American 3DS can't play games off the shelf, so I'm going to buy X digitally - my first ever digital mainstream game. I just can't wait another week for a boxed copy to arrive from America.
