This. If they had even just left the eyes a solid green color I would have liked it much more. For some reason we go from the first form, where the green spots are cheeks and the eyes are just two black dots. Then the next form loses the dots and just has the green spots for eyes. Then the final form has the green spots for cheek patches again, but this time also has cutesy green eyes.

I just don't understand what they were thinking. It's like they got to Goodra and realized, "SHIT, we're almost doing something weird and original here! Better make a throwback to Dragonite to supplement all the other things we've done to cater to the old RBY crowd this gen!"

Goodra is "cute" in the same way that americans consider angry red eyes as "scary". i.e. Trying too hard to force a certain reaction.

I don't feel like Goodra's cuteness is "forced", I mean it's still covered in/made of slime and that's not typically something people find adorable.

Goodra is an absolute steaming turd of a design, and let's not forget it being a pure dragon (no interesting new type combos) special wall (which is useless) in a gen full of Fairy types (it's fucking garbage).

The only reason i'm not completely salty is because Dragalge exists, who is more of a pseudo than the fetishistic MLP slug we got instead.

Did you people ever realize the eyes aren't there to look "cute", but to simply make the Pokemon look less aggressive/violent? Dragonite is a sea guardian/messenger Pokemon. Goodra is looking to be defensively based.
