It also has good speed and SpA, and isn't cursed by having viability tied to coverage moves as other mono-Electric types are.

It's fine Electric/Normal.
Will be fun to run Specs set with Volt Switch.
May even have enough versatility with Elec/Normal alone to run something like: Volt Switch/Parabolic Charge/Hyper Voice/(Tbolt/coverage/utility).
