The description of the Heart Cave in BW2 directly mentions Sinnoh, hell Crasher Wake in route 18 for no reason are much more direct than this "hint" but I'm not screaming dor DPPt remakes like a retard

Neither of them are hints for anything, they're references to past games, which both Kanto and Hoenn got during the fourth generation. I'd bet actual money that there are namedrops for all of the regions in the next game.

Really, at this point I want Gen III to get remakes even though I despise it, since it is clear at this point that otherwise hoennfags will keep droning HOENN CONFIRMED endlessly at every little reference until it actually happens, no matter how many gens pass. I don't think the large masses overall wanted any remake. Gen 1 and 2 remakes happened because nintendo/gf wanted to cash in on the people form the initial craze. Can they cash in on Gen 3? Not as much as the first 2. Maybe if it's a completely new story and game with new rivals and villains. But playing the same shit remade? Nope.

I thought one of the purposes of FR/LG was to make the original 150+ some friends available to the Gen III games again. The HG/SS helped make boatloats of Pokemon available again since newer DS models stopped having GBA slots so no Pal Park.

For the sake of making Pokemon available, there really isn't a need unless DS cartriges are being discontinued soon.

You can't use DPPtHGSS with pokemon bank, which means you'll need 2 systems.

Basically a remake of any of the first 3 could come for sake of ease.

Agreed. The gen has it's shortcomings that could be fixed with a remake, and hopefully what they learned from the HGSS remake helps them realize that your level curve does need to be toned down a good amount, as well as better distrib rates.

Honestly, platinum fixed most of the problems, but they're still there. It's not as bad as Gen 2/pre-remake gen 1, but it still needs some fixing (mostly the distribution of pokemon and some slight tweaks to levels).
