toxic for one does not make sense on every pokemon, unless it represents spreading germs. give it to bulky poison types and dark types like muk or drapion and keep it off walrein, the cunt.
protect is alright i suppose, but it becomes ridiculous when everything can use it with substitute. limit the combination to the movesets of a few pokemon who would benefit most greatly from it. perhaps take substitute and protect out o a bunch of movepools. likewise with stealth rock (so it's not so ubiquitous) and double team so they might unban it. make drizzle/ drought/snow warning/ sand stream last five turns and make moody have an equal probability of not raising any stat. restore the old sleep mechanics and voila we have no outright bans.
