Yep, there's a Gamestop in an adjacent suburb 10 minutes away that's having one. I preordered Y a couple days ago.

I was going to try Walmart but this at least guarantees me a copy rather than trying my luck with late night Walmart employees.

I am going to the Gamestop near UCF. When I went to preorder they told me that threre were so many pre orders they are going to start giving tickets as early as 6pm. So I will have to get there around then to grab mine then come back a bit later.

Ask for deposit refund at the place you preordered it. Use refund to prorder at the place with the midnight opening, you still have time.

If the other Gamestop asks why you're cancilling your preorder tell them because they are plebs who don't think a game that will sell more copies than GTA V is worthy of a midnight release.

I have at least SIX gaystops within fifteen minutes of my house. The closest one doing midnight is half an hour out.

Guessing I'm hitting up Meijer or Wal-Mart. I'm extremely tempted to go eShop on this one but by the time the download finishes I would have already been on my way home with a physical copy anyway.

Grab our tickets or what ever they want me to pick up between 9pm-1130pm

Head to applebees for a few drinks

Back to gamestop to grab X maybe do some trading or battling on black 2

Exchange friend codes with my brother then play til I pass out. Trading and battling with him as milestones are met.

Here's the event info. Just go to facebook and tack that on after .com. Personally I'm not gonna make it out since it's a two hour drive out there and I'm heading out to Orlando next weekend for Nerdapalooza, but I know that when the people involved do shit like this, it's always a good time.

the gamestop in maplewood, MN is having one. I preordered mine yesterday and asked about how many people have already preordered and he said roughly 200. Apparently theres going to be a shit ton to do there too. Starting at 9pm there will be some official gym leader guy there you can battle with your copy of black / white or black / white 2 and if you win you get a gym badge. there is also supposed to be tables set up for people who play the tcg. and a pokemon costume contest. and their "nintendo guy" is sending over posters and keychains and other random swag to give away. should be a good time.
