I doubt Klefki will have a movepool better than Whimscott and that's basically the only thing that matters for Prankster users, so Whimsicott.

It's got slightly less bulk than whimsicott, but a far better typing. It also has WAY less speed, so outside of prankster you ain't never going first.

It'll probably get Toxic, substitute, Encore, and Taunt, which would be a good bread and butter annoyer/staller set. It also has Crafty Shield to play with, although why would you waste a moveslot on "Protect against Status attacks" when +priority Taunt does the exact same thing?

The lack of Leech Seed and Cotton Guard make Klefki a slightly worse Prankster wall I think, but if he gets something else good, he might still be the equal to Whimsicott yet.

Presumably it's like Wide Guard and Quick Guard, where they're more situational but also protect the rest of your team?
Never seen Quick Guard used, though. Wide Guard is occasionally useful.
