You can see that the Japan pattern looks like a dress, and oriental culture. The polar/canada is asocciated with the snow. The scotland one is about the ''nature'', and the scotland gardens and the ''Pokebank'' template it's empty because it was only a ''demo'' version, and it couldn't recognize the pokemon ''location''.
Every ''big country'' have it own pattern, we did this because we want all the players to collect and trade pokemons, in this case Vivillon's', with another players around the world.
