Yeah nah no luck. Did get more info regarding midnight launch though, numbers will be handed out to the queue starting from 9PM. I intend to get there maybe 8:30ish, get a number then fuck off and get something to eat/drink until midnight. I will also disavow all knowledge of 4chan and reddit while queuing.

Well I know Brisbane has a separate StreetPass group that meets up once every month. I think Melbourne does too.

I also suspect it'll have some form of STreetPass function, and considering I've never met someone <30 with a Nintendo handheld WITHOUT Pokemon, I suspect we may see more Passes then we do currently. (I personally get one every few days wondering the shopping centre where I work)

I knew it wouldn't scan through the system but I'm a masochist so I tried anyway. Went to K-Mart Sylvania and acted dumb. The lady got super excited "oh yes we got them in yesterday they're in the back!", came out and literally waved the case in my face proudly. I'm practically hyperventilating at this point but trying to stay cool. If you're in a position like this, you can't avoid blame by saying "for some reason". They should have given better instructions to Auspost, telling them not to leak games out early on like this.
