What is your opinion on Glalie and why?

I've always been fascinated by Glalie. No idea why.

I am not as much a fan of pokemon as one of you most likely but I've always been intrigued by the creatures. Is he good competitively? Is he good in general?

If not, is there a good Gen VI ice type I should have on my team?

Aside from the fact that it has bad typing and there are a lot of other ice types that are much better, it's actually a pretty ok pokemon. I mean, it's usable, it's just not incredible.

It doesn't really fill a niche because its stats are completely mediocre. It won't kill anything faster than it gets killed itself. Froslass does everything you would want to do with Glalie better expect explode or something. It's usable in gen 3 UU because it can spike and explode, but nobody really plays that.

I love Glalie and Froslass. I seriously hope Snorunt/Glalie become Ice/Fairy. They're in the Fairy egg group, so it wouldn't be without reason.

The flat stats really kill Glalie's usefulness. Pretty much anything it can do something else can do better.

Ice type main user here. Glalie sucks, but I love his design. I wish there was more space for ice-types in the meta. But unfortunately, the 4 or so that have been mentioned are all that are viable.

I actually dislike Froslass because it took away chance of Glalie being used, who was one of my favorite Gen III Pokemon.

I've got a soft-spot for them Ice Pokemon, same with Snover and Abomasnow, and I'm loving Bergmite and Avalugg, definitely using them in my playthrough.
