Then after the E4, your rival gives you the starter that theoretical you cose is strong against. If you chose fenneken, you'd get a chespin etc.

Also starting a trash file with Chespin and Charmander to get Charizardite Y. Does anybody know more about the Starter Megastones you can buy later? Josh said he saw Venusaurite at a shop and he picked Squirtle. If you can buy the stone you're weak against later in the game I won't have to do what I said...

I'll likely use Torchic and Froakie, but I'll bank Charmander. Nothing against it, but I have fire-type covered and I've been using Charizard my last few games/runs.

Fennikin, Charmander, yes I will use Torchic. I won't evolve any of them at LEAST until I get to the E4 but depending on how hard they are I will get them all into the Hall of Fame unevolved.

No version exclusive, it's just that the appearance rates differ between the versions.

Josh said Heracross was very common, so I suspect in X it'll be 2-5% appearance rate.
