This low count is probably MOST jarring coming off the heels of a generation that introduced more new pokemon than the first.
That noted; I expect alot of new pokemon as DLC.
Wait for the Rom to be dumped; things could still change.
I also expect this to be a 3 year generation, console life is longer, I figure the 3DS is still "getting going"; 2011-2018?
and Gen VI hits in 2013?
