Smogon put shit into tiers.
Now Charizard standard is still going to suffer against rocks, even if Sneaky Pebbles has been nerfed possibly. Meaning, he's still not going to be OU.
But one of his MegaEvos might, due to new typing, moves, stats and gimmicks etc.
B ut you still just have to take him in as a Charizard. So lets say MegaX Charizard is OU due to his new Dragont and less vulnerability to rock.
How would that work for Smogon's tiers now? You'd have to outright state "I'm using a Charizardite X" which kind of eliminates a sort of fake out thing where they could set up a counter for dragon then WHAM ACTUALLY I AM USING A CHARIZARD OWNED NERD.
Smogon are going to have a headache about this, I think. Discuss.
