American women really do have way too many conflicting ideals being pushed on them by the media and religion and work and their parents and feminism and "feminism" and everything else they see. This tends to make a lot of them confused and horribly mess up in their morning routines to make themselves beautiful and end up screwing up.
Men on the other hand don't really feel pressured by all of this shit, in general. Some gay guys or effeminate (personality-wise, not looks wise) males do, but in general, not so much. They're just themselves.
Not saying all developed nations don't put pressure on women, but at least they follow one thing instead of trying to do everything at once and come out looking like drag queens.
