I love breeding a pokemon for the specific purpose of hunting some down. Makes it feel like a journey. I'll take a break after E4 to breed something up, then go on the hunt.

Fuck rushing it all, the games fairly easy so i'll just enjoy myself. Also going to under-level and switch up my team a few times.

Any amount of money those of you who will hate it in a few days will skip the dialog, over-level to shit and just rush the experience.

What, can't you like, land a hit or something on them before they run? At least I could do it on the roamers in SoulSilver. It was just a matter of patience, going back and forth between route borders, checking the Pokédex every time to see if the roamer I was hunting was in my area this time.

You select Mega Evolution and the move you want to use, the Pokemon Mega Evolves and uses the move.

Moltres here fled before the player even had any options to use a move. So a Pokemon that comes out of the ball with Shadow Tag is required.

So, Wobuffet. Arena Trap doesn't work because Flying type.

I agree, and Pokemon tunes were always a breath of fresh air to me for that reason.

I actually like the fierce, pounding quality of techno music, so when some of black/white's battle themes utilized this kind of heavy percussion, but also introduced elaborate melodies and orchestrations, that satisfied me perfectly. But a lot of these themes are just boring, both percussively and melodically.

You know, this made me realize something. Why didn't they just make it so that there was something within the code of the game that disabled exp gain unless you did a free update over wifi? That would mean that all the people who got the game early wouldn't be able to progress very far at all and there would have been no leaks to begin with, even if someone got the game even a month early.

If your Pokemon is faster, it moves before the wild Pokemon can flee. Likewise you get an opportunity to throw a ball before the wild Pokemon flees.

That's how it's always worked, and I highly doubt they changed it here.
