They're basically the same setup as Crobat, which is used as a defensive pivot. As long as Noivern get's Roost, it'll be able to be tailored as a defensive utility mon- especially since Dragon/Flying is actually pretty good defensively.
It resists Fighting, Grass, Water, Fire, Bug and is immune to Ground..
A theoretical set of
-Roost
-U-turn/Parting Shot (if it gets that)
-Taunt
-Air Slash/Dragon Pulse
It'd be a great pivot, that could also setup for your sweepers to come in.
This is also on top of any possible Nasty Plot )if he gets it) boosting sets, Weather oriented sets, and Choice Specs with the possible Switcheroo (if he gets it).
A lot of people are missing the possibilities of Noivern. This guy can be tailored to do a LOT, if he gets these moves, which, mind you, are all thematically relevant.
